Eat pulled pork at Rack and Soul

I walk by Rack and Soul everyday on my way to and from school. It's a soul-food barbecue joint. It looks really over the top and cheesy, but only recently has it warmed up to me and I really think we should go next time you are here. I have a sudden feeling that it might be really really awesome. There's construction going on right now, but the flashing (and flashy) neon sign assures that it's open during construction. Let's go!

And for the record, I'm calling the pulled pork meal right now.

How was it?:

Yummy. In addition to a Budweiser each, we got BBQ New Orleans-style shrimp to start. This was the best part. They came in this crazy-good, really dark, rich, brown sauce and with grits. Mmmmmm. The shrimp were complete with their eyes, legs, and some weird orange guts-like substance. We stuck to below their tails and all was delicious. I got pulled pork with macaroni and cheese and candied yams. Adam got ribs and pulled pork with baked beans and green beans. Everything was reeeealllly tasty. I'd go back anytime for the baked beans alone.
